As a first year student athlete we are required to attend 2 workshops directed by Professor Kolbe. These workshops consist of first year information, typically geared freshmen . An upper class men can attend them also because they are about study skills. The workshop I attended was about how to answer an essay test the proper way. There are three steps to this method. The first is to anticipate essay topics and question. You should review your notes and make up your own questions. The second is to narrow down the questions you choose and prepare at least two to have prepared. The last is to think if three or four answers to your questions and have an outline for you explanation.
