This week's word is persistence. Persistence is something you need in order to even think about being motivated. Last week I didn't feel well and missed my math class. This caused to be way behind everyone else. I missed 3 sections out of chapter 7 and couldn't do my online work. Instead of giving up and not trying to learn the material. I asked a lot of question to my professor and other people around me. I took advantage of the workbook and learned how to do the problems by the examples on the other side of the book. I taught myself those three sections and I was proud that I understood everything. With persistence all of these things were able to get done no questions asked.

Ethos and pathos are two terms that I have been learning about to my MDS class. They are used to daily advertisements so that the public eye can identify with them a lot easier. Pathos is the emotional appeal of the ad. So think of the dog commercial with "The Arms of THe Angels" playing in the background. Ethos is more the character of the advertisement. Sya if the NBA was advertising for the championship.
